The 2023 Belrose Touch season is ON!

Belrose Eagles Touch Association is delighted to announce that the 2023 Junior Touch Footy season will be tapping off earlier than usual so prompt action is required so you don’t miss out.

Details on the seniors Competitions to be announced in the coming week.

The season will commence Thursday 14 September 2023, run for 9 weeks and the finals round will be played 30 November 2023.

The following are this year’s age groups-

Under 7 mixed (born 2016/17)
Under 9 Boys and Girls (born 2014/15)
Under 11 Boys and Girls (born 2012/13)
Under 13 Boys and Girls (born 20010/11)
Under 15 Boys and Girls (born 2008/09)
Under 17 Boys and Girls (born 2007/06)

Registration fees are $90 per person, and this cost includes a team t-shirt, and full insurance. The usual icey treat AKA Zooper Doopers are going to be making an appearance too.

Payment can be made by either credit card or you can use your Active Kids Voucher. If using your active kids voucher we suggest you apply for your voucher number via service NSW before starting the registration process. Please note the below changes to Active kids vouchers.

  • The current voucher system will be extended from July 1st, 2023, until the new scheme is in place from February 1, 2024. These vouchers will be reduced to $50 for school-aged children.
  • Starting from 1st February 2024, Active Kids Vouchers will only be offered on a means-tested basis, available to NSW families receiving Family Tax Benefits.

TEAM registrations will open Thursday 17 August at 10 am.

All members of your team will need to have completed their registration by Friday 25 August. We suggest 10 players per team. Belrose play social rules, so 7 players on field at a time.

We will open individual registrations after Friday 25 August, for those who don’t have a team. If your team is short, we will be in contact and help you fill the team with those who register individually. We suggest 9-10 players per team, if your team fall short you will be expected to welcome others into your team.

Register will be via MySideline as previous years.

MYSIDELINE

MySideline is a team, player, and competition registration system (which comes about because of the relationship between the NRL and Touch Football Australia).

Because we are using MySideline you need to have an NRL Account. If you or your child(ren) play Rugby League, you should have an account. It would be advisable to login and check to make sure your account is active, and you can remember your password.

If you DO NOT have an NRL account, please do yourself a favour and Sign Up to create one as soon as possible. This will make the registration process so much easier.

REGISTERING YOUR TEAM

When registering your team, it would be advisable to have:

  • An individual NRL Account (as per above)
  • A unique team name – as your players will have to search on the team’s name in the MySideline system, it is advisable to go with something unique that will be found easily, and DOESN’T include the word TOUCH!
  • The details of a second contact for your team (whilst the system indicates that the 2nd contact is ‘optional’, please make sure you include another contact)
  • Your credit card details OR your active kids voucher number.
  • Email addresses of all your team members so you can send them an individual player registration link for your team

To register your team you will need to go to the Register Your Team page and type in Belrose where it asks ‘Find a place for your team to play’.

This will then list all our competitions. Please select the competition you want to enter in to ( ie- Under 11 Girls).

Once you’re in the correct division and grade select ‘REGISTER’.

You will then be asked to login with your NRL account or sign up if you don’t have a NRL account.

Log In with your NRL account email address and password / Facebook / Google / Apple account OR select ‘SIGN UP’ if you don’t have an account.

Complete the fields on the Registration Details screen, including the secondary contact (even though this is not mandatory).

Once the Registration Details are entered you be taken to the Payment screen where you can either enter your credit card details or apply your active kids voucher number, to complete the registration process.

Once you have registered your team in MySideline you can invite your players to register into the team.

To do this send each player the ‘Team Finder’ link – https://profile.mysideline.com.au/register/clubsearch – and your unique team name.
